INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—Lucas Oil Raceway has announced the details for a pair of preseason test-and-tune set for the weekend of March 28-29. Saturday, March 28 will see a drag strip test-and-tune before a rotating practice session on the oval on Sunday, March 29.
Operating similarly to a Wild Wednesday, the drag strip test-and-tune will be open to all racing vehicles. The first passes will be made at noon before shutting down at 4 p.m. Each car can purchase a tech card for $30 while NHRA members can purchase theirs for $15. Crew and spectators will be charged $15. Stacking will be available beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday night
The oval practice day will consist of rotating 15-minute sessions with four different groups. The four categories will include Comp/Street Stock, Late Model/Sportsman/Modified, Open Wheel, and an open class for all remaining vehicles.
Beginning with the first 15-minute session at 11 a.m., the four classes will rotate until 4 p.m. The complete schedule can be found HERE. Entry into the preseason practice session with be $35 per car while crew and spectators can purchase a $15 pass.
