SCHEDULE UPDATE: Upcoming Test & Tune and Wild Wednesday dates postponed

Due to unfavorable weather conditions and schedule for track preparation, this weekend’s test and tune session scheduled for Saturday, April 2 has been postponed one week to Saturday, April 9. Additionally, the first Wild Wednesday of the season (originally scheduled for April 6) has been postponed one week to Wednesday, April 13.

For the April 8-10 season opening weekend, Friday night camping will still be available for bracket racers on the evening of April 8 – with gates open from 5:00 to 10:00 PM. Additionally, the test and tune on April 9 will now take the place of the Brown’s Oil E.T. Bracket Series points race originally scheduled for that day. The first points race of the season will now be held on Sunday, April 10.

For the April 9 test and tune day, a gamblers race will also run in conjunction with the day’s activity. Gates will open at 8:00 AM with the test and tune beginning at 11:00 AM, and the gamblers race starting at 12:00 PM. The price for the test and tune is $30 pre-registered online (or $35 at the gate), and admission to the test and tune includes admission to the gamblers race – though you must notify gate staff of your intention to participate in the gamblers race.

The gamblers race will race to the 1/8th mile and feature a .500 full tree, cross-talk ON, $15 buybacks, and 75% of the purse going to the winner while the runner-up receives 25%.

For the Sunday, April 10 season-opening Brown’s Oil E.T. Bracket Series points race, racers will receive TWO time trials instead of the normal one time trial that is standard for Sunday races. The rest of the April 10 schedule remains unchanged.

Furthermore, due to unfavorable weather conditions forecasted for next week’s Wild Wednesday season-opener, the first Wild Wednesday event of the year has been shifted back one week to Wednesday, April 13. The gates will still open at 5:00 PM with on-track action beginning at 5:30 PM.
