Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park has a variety of positions available for individuals looking to work in the racing industry! We are looking for energetic people with great customer service skills to work in an energetic and fast-paced environment at America’s Great Race Place.
This position reports directly to the Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park General Manager and is responsible for planning, organizing, recruiting, staffing, directing, and evaluating the emergency fire/rescue and EMS response team. Responsibilities encompass on-track incident response, facility incident response, development and implementation of emergency operating procedures, as well as evacuation and disaster plans.
We seek fire/rescue and EMT personnel to assist at race events during the season (April-October). As a member of the Emergency Services Team, you will be an essential part of the guest experience. Your job will be to respond to on track incidents, facility incidents, and maintain emergency operating procedures. Emergency Services personnel will be located throughout Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park Raceway and alongside the racetrack to respond to emergency situations via vehicle or foot.
The Race Operations Worker assists with critical track and event operations at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, including track preparation, staging lane management, and drag strip duties such as ready line, water box, and start line operations. This position may involve operating tractors or ATVs and plays an essential role in creating a safe, enjoyable race day experience for guests. Team members are responsible for maintaining safety protocols, communicating effectively with drivers and fans, and fostering a fun, friendly atmosphere throughout race events.

VOLUNTEER GROUPS FAQ'S
No. We typically reach out to your organization with a volunteer participant amount request and will proceed from there.
Yes. We ask that volunteers be no younger than 18 years of age.
All groups will check-in and check-out with our Ticketing Manager. Once all hours are calculated after the event, you can expect to receive a check in the mail 6-8 weeks following the event, provided all paperwork has been filled out and provided to Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park.
