2023 Oval Schedule

Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park is excited to showcase a diverse set of events on the oval in 2023, emphasizing a revival in pavement open-wheel racing with events featuring USAC Silver Crown, National Pavement Midget Championship, and Sprint Cars throughout the season.

In addition to our open-wheel slate, NASCAR returns with the Craftsman Truck Series and ARCA Menards Series in August as well as the unique Cleetus & Cars Indy 800 on the oval in the spring.

Carb Night Classic presented by Protective Insurance

The Carb Night Classic returns to Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park in 2023 on Friday, May 26! Featuring multiple classes of open-wheel racing on the Friday before the Indianapolis 500, it will be a night to remember!

NEW FOR 2023 – The Carb Night Classic will feature the 70th Anniversary Hoosier Hundred, one of the crown jewel events on the USAC Silver Crown Series calendar. This 100-mile race will kick off the evening, which also includes the USF Pro 2000 and USF2000 Championships, as well as a 30-lap National Pavement Midget Championship feature.

The 70th anniversary Hoosier Hundred will boast one of the richest payouts in Silver Crown racing today – $25,000 to win with a $92,000 total race purse.

NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series

Continuing a tradition which dates back to 1982, NASCAR is back at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park in 2023 with the TSport 200! On Friday, August 11, the NASCAR CRAFSTMAN Truck Series and the ARCA Menards Series will race under the lights as future stars of stock car racing compete on one of America’s most storied short tracks.

Tickets to the NASCAR doubleheader at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park will go on-sale on Friday, October 28. Reserved seat prices will be $45 apiece, while general admission tickets will be $35 apiece. Children 12 and under will receive a FREE general admission ticket when accompanied by a paying adult, and primitive camping is also FREE!

Twin 25’s
National Pavement Midget Championship

Featuring a pair of 25-lap, high-intensity feature races, the Twin 25’s on Saturday, August 12 will pit drivers in the National Pavement Midget Championship against one another for a shot at a BIG pay day!

For the driver who wins the first feature, he or she will start the next race from the tail of the field. If that driver can race through the field and win the second feature, they will take home a $50,000 BONUS on top of the race payout purse.

Only one driver has done it in history – the late Dave Steele in 2002. Join us on August 12 as we chase history once again!

Howard Companies Championship Saturday

Capping off a busy oval season, Howard Companies Championship Saturday will feature three unique season-finales for the USAC Silver Crown National Championship, National Pavement Midget Championship, and the 500 Sprint Car Tour – all in one day!

The Saturday, October 14 event will host the 100-lap, $10,000 to win USAC Silver Crown National Championship finale, as well as 40-lap, $5,000 to win features in the National Pavement Midget Championship and the 500 Sprint Car Tour.

Additionally, the 2023 AJ Foyt Championship winner will be crowned on this day, adding a new name to a list of track champions that includes legends such as Jeff Gordon, Parnelli Jones, Ryan Newman, and more.

For Howard Companies Championship Saturday, all tickets are general admission and the price is $25. Plus, Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park is offering free primitive camping to all fans for Howard Companies Championship Saturday!
