In conjunction with the NHRA North Central Division, Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park will hold our 2026 chassis inspection day on Saturday, March 28th. Chassis Inspections will be conducted by an NHRA-licensed Chassis Inspector who will perform both new and renewal inspections.
This year’s Sportsman Chassis Certification Fee is just $170 and includes a chassis tag valid for three (3) years. As a reminder tags expire on the last day of the month punched, plus three years.

As a reminder, open-wheel cars and roadsters must have the body removed so the inspector can access all required areas. Full-bodied cars must be raised high enough for the chassis inspector to visually access and evaluate every component underneath the vehicle. Please note that failure to not properly prepare your vehicle may result in your vehicle not being inspected.
