GLENDORA, Calif. (Jan. 21, 2016) – Officials at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis have announced plans to construct a permanent Top Eliminator Club (TEC) building at the multi-use facility. Construction will begin in early 2016 and will be completed before the Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series event on Aug. 31-Sept. 5. The building will be located adjacent to the starting line of the drag strip on the west side of the track.
Morgan Lucas (Top Fuel), Erica Enders (Pro Stock) and Jerry Savoie (Pro Stock Motorcycle) also were winners at the world’s most prestigious drag race and the final NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series event of the regular season.
