2017 CRA Fall Brawl Results

Brian Campbell won the Fall Brawl 100 for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis on Sunday, picking up yet another pair of boxing gloves on what was an unseasonably warm day. Campbell inherited the lead on lap 53 after race-long leader Carson Hocevar dropped out with a broken fuel line, and never looked back on his way to the win.

2017 NMCA World Finals Results

In VP Racing Fuels Xtreme Pro Mod, fourteen of sixteen driversmotored to 3-second elapsed-times in qualifying, and while Jason Hamstra led the field with a 3.83 in his Camaro, his loss in the second round paved the way to the final that featured Steve Summers and his Camaro and his Mark Luton and his Mustang. There, Summers secured the win with a 3.80 to Luton’s 3.92, and took a trip to the Aerospace Components Winner’s Circle.

Torrence Wins Top Fuel Traxxas Nitro Shootout

Steve Torrence piloted his Capco Contractors dragster to the Top Fuel NHRA Traxxas Nitro Shootout victory Saturday at the Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals, the world’s biggest drag race, at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis. In other racing, Clay Millican (Top Fuel), Matt Hagan (Funny Car), Greg Anderson (Pro Stock), and Eddie Krawiec (Pro Stock Motorcycle) were the provisional No. 1 qualifiers in their respective categories at the 18th of 24 events on the 2017 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series. Torrence ran a 3.673-second pass at 329.50 mph to defeat Tony Schumacher’s 3.680 pass at 330.31 in his U.S. Army dragster during the specialty event final round to win the $100,000 prize.

Beckman Leads in Private Testing at Lucas Oil Raceway

Jack Beckman led the Funny Car category during the second and final day of testing for the Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis. Tony Schumacher improved upon his time from Wednesday to lead Top Fuel. Beckman, the 2015 event winner, ran a time of 3.827 seconds at 337.07 mph in his first run of the day. Beckman has two wins, two runner-up finishes on the season, and is using the test to prepare his Infinite Hero Foundation Charger R/T for the coming event.

Schumacher Leads Top Fuel Testing for 2017 U.S. Nationals

(BROWNSBURG, Ind.) Tony Schumacher led the Top Fuel category on Wednesday during the first of two days of testing for the Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis. Defending Funny Car event winner Matt Hagan led the Funny Car class. During the test session, Schumacher posted a run of 3.707 seconds at 327.19 mph in his U.S. Army Top Fuel dragster. Schumacher is the defending event winner, has 10 wins at the Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals, and is the winningest driver in the history of the event. Schumacher, who has one win this year, is hoping the positive results at testing parlay into success next week.

Tanner Foust claimed the championship lead for the first time in the 2017 Red Bull Global Rallycross season with a statement victory at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum on Sunday. Foust, who finished second the day before to local favorite Steve Arpin, used a brilliant launch off the line to claim the victory and close out the doubleheader event, part of the Ottawa 2017 celebration of the 150thanniversary of the confederation of Canada.

Kody Swanson Seizes the Moment

Friday night’s “Carb Night Classic” at Lucas Oil Raceway was no exception as the Californian led all 100 laps from the pole to surpass J.J. Yeley and join the late, great Dave Steele for third on the all-time series win list with his 16th career triumph.

INDIANAPOLIS (May 9, 2017) D.G. Yuengling & Son has been named the official beer of Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis, track officials announced today. Yuengling, which recently began a distributorship in Indiana, will have a season-long presence at the historic multi-purpose facility located on the west side of Indianapolis.

D3 Team Finalized

The Division 3 race team members have been finalized as shown in the picture below! Matt “Bubba” Mahurin and Michele Mahaurin will be named the team captains for this years finals. ‘Big Chief’ to Race the U.S. Nationals

GLENDORA, Calif. – Justin “Big Chief” Shearer, star of Discovery Channel’s reality television series Street Outlaws, plans to compete in his Pro Mod car in the Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals Aug. 31-Sept. 5 at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis.
